For the past three and a half years, I have lived on a tiny speck of sand in the ocean in Indonesia, called Gili Trawangan.
Just off the coast of Lombok, sits three wee islands called Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. Gili Trawangan is the largest of the three islands, coming in at just 7km around. This is the island that I lived on.
